This is how Can Secret is understood, the restaurant of Agroturismo Safragell, which during the summer presents new proposals from its menu inspired by its own garden, seasonal products, and the most authentic way to enjoy the island.
Located on a century-old estate in Sant Llorenç de Balàfia, Can Secret has become one of the new reference restaurants in Ibiza for those seeking more than just a meal or dinner and advocating for a serene, elegant experience deeply connected to the environment. Its proposal, defined as “Cuina amb ànima”, advocates for a local, contemporary, and conscious gastronomy, where the land, the sea, and the season dictate the rhythm of each preparation.
Each month, Can Secret incorporates some dishes into its proposal, and on this occasion, the own garden of Agroturismo Safragell takes on special importance in a menu where vegetables are the protagonists of a large part of its preparations. Suggestions specially designed to celebrate the beginning of summer, share without haste, and enjoy the flavors of the island from a contemporary perspective. Among its new additions are the boletus and fresh truffle risotto, a creamy, aromatic, and enveloping proposal; the 60-day aged picanha with parmesan, pickled shimeji mushrooms, and wasabi, which elevates the meat with umami nuances, acidity, and depth; and, as a fresh and surprising closure, a fruit ceviche with vegan Thai chilli leche de tigre, conceived as a vibrant, light dessert full of contrast.
These new creations join an already established menu, where the garden coexists with seafood bites, meat recipes, and signature desserts. Dishes such as the Km0 leek confit in Josper with romesco, Mediterranean eggplant on citrus tahini with Toscana tomato and almond, roasted carrot with curry and labne, or homemade pickled salad with ginger vinaigrette, avocado, furikake, and chipotle in adobo reflect the importance that Can Secret gives to vegetable products and to a cuisine capable of evoking emotions through simplicity. Its gastronomic proposal also maintains a contemporary, flexible perspective designed for all diners. Of the 24 dishes that make up its menu, half are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and 90% are gluten free, allowing all diners to enjoy an inclusive experience without sacrificing flavor, technique, or personality.
